FAWE CONDUCTS ANNUAL REVIEW MEETING

FAWE Rwanda in partnership with Mastercard foundation conducted a one-day annual review meeting on 20th December 2019.The meeting intended to evaluate the whole year activities : achievements, challenges, recommendations and propose a way forward.

Participants acknowledged FAWE Rwanda’s contribution in the education sector saying that it helps the ministry of education to fulfill its mandate.

Speaking on behalf of FAWE Regional Secretariat, Martha Muhwezi, Executive Director said that many things were done but now is time to move out of books to practice if we want to produce.

‘’Rwanda is ranked the best...But this time we need to move out of the books to practice if we need to produce ; instead of producing people who seek jobs, we have to produce those who create jobs so Let our children learn to work.’’-she said

The annual review meeting was graced by 56 stakeholders including the representative from the ministry of education among others.
