FAWE Rwanda with the support from UN Women Rwanda, has Initiated a Rwanda Career Women’s Centre whose aim is to improve female participation in the labour market by equipping young women with the necessary skills to access employment and create profitable business. The center will provide leadership skills training, entrepreneurship and digital skills as well as coaching and mentoring.

With funding from La Francophonie, FAWE Rwanda is looking for 30 ambitious young women between the ages of 21 and 35 who completed senior six (S6) and have a certificate from any TVET or VTC, practicing what she learnt and has set up small business but is struggling with how to run it effectively and gain more profit or linkage to financial institutions. The young women will be trained in entrepreneurship and digital literacy will be linked to financial institutions for possible support.

The training will be free of charge and FAWE Rwanda will cover all the logistics necessary for the training.

–  Equipped with knowledge of how to grow your business increase your finances
–  Equipped with knowledge on how to use digital knowledge in managing your finances, marketing your business, online business, e-taxes and more ;
–  Chances to be linked to a financial institution for loan ;
–  Access to a successful female mentor who is already in the business to guide and inspire them ;
–  Being part of a network of female entrepreneurs and learn from their experiences.

To be eligible for these training you should :

–  A Rwandan young woman aged between 21-35 years old
–  Should be residing in Kigali.
–  Having had trainings in TVET or VTC and earned a certificate
–  Having a small income generating activity in line with what she studied
–  Should commit to attend training that will take one month

• A motivation letter explains why you want the training in one of the following languages : English, Kinyarwanda or French.
• A copy of certificate acquired from TVET or VTC
• A copy of your ID
