Fawe RWANDA mentors training to equip mentors on online mentoring skills

Kigali 28th - 30th August, 2020 : FAWE Rwanda with funding from Mastercard foundation conducted a three -day training for 66 mentors and peer mentors with an aim to equip them with online mentoring skills as away to respond to the scholars needs even during this time when contact with them is impossible. Emphasis was put on mentorship bearing in mind the psychological needs of the mentee. With the support of a mentoring guide the mentors were also guided through online reporting and building rapport with their mentees

The meeting intended to evaluate the whole year activities : achievements, challenges, recommendations and propose a way forward.
Participants acknowledged FAWE Rwanda’s contribution in the education sector saying that it helps the ministry of education to fulfill its mandate.
