139 smartphones donated to FAWE Rwanda’s alumnae

Under the #ConnectRwanda initiative, on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 at FAWE Women Career Centre, Rwanda’s Ministry of ICT and Innovation handed over 139 smartphones to FAWE Rwanda’s alumnae.

Smartphones will help beneficiaries to improve their way of communication while at the same time allowing them to connect with the digital world.

The Ministry of ICT and Innovation agreed to provide Smartphones to Alumnae who did not join tertiary education to ease their communication with FAWE Rwanda staff, especially the online guidance and supervision of the projects that are being initiated by the Alumnae.

These smartphones will facilitate the Alumnae to submit to FAWE Rwanda financial and narrative reports on the implementation of the projects supported financially by FAWE Rwanda in partnership with Mastercard Foundation
