Graduation of 486 Mastercard Foundation Scholars for Cohort 2

On August on 11th, 2018 at IPRC Kigali Stadium, 486 Master Card Foundation Scholars graduated in Second Cohort.

FAWE Rwanda was very thankful to MasterCard Foundation scholars program for the partnership and financial support, a ten-year program that will definitely make a difference in the lives of families benefiting and the country.

As we celebrate the graduation of the second cohort, the FAWE family is proud of 14 scholars who scored 73/73 in the National exams. Also 8 scholars from this group were among 10 best scholars at the national level.

In her remarks, FAWE RWanda Chaiperson thanked the Mastercard Foundation, the Ministry of Education and FAWE Africa for their support to the promotion of girls education in Rwanda and in Africa and congratulate all the scholars who graduated.

The graduation was attended by The Guest of Honor from Mineduc Dr Christine, MasterCard Foundation Representatives, Fawe Regional Secretariat, and other FAWE RWANDA Partners.
